Welcome to Scapedia ("the App"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scapedia mobile application and related services ("Services").


By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Scapedia.


By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to use the Services under applicable laws.


2. Account Registration and Authentication

To use Scapedia, you must create an account using a supported authentication method, which may include:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Sign in With Apple
  • Email and password authentication

We do not permit use of the app for anonymous or guest accounts at this time.


You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.


3. User Data and Content

Scapedia stores user-generated data and account-related data, including:

  • City layouts and in-app progress
  • Rewards and achievements
  • Profile information
  • Profile photos (if uploaded)
  • Account-linked activity related to use of the App

Profile photos uploaded by users may be displayed within social features of the App, including friend lists, friend invitations, and similar account-related interactions.


You retain ownership of content you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant Scapedia a limited license to store, process, and display that content as necessary to provide the Services.

4. Third-Party Services

Scapedia may integrate with or reference third-party services, including but not limited to:


Users may optionally connect their Scapedia account with supported third-party services through features such as QR-code-based account linking.


Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Scapedia is not affiliated with and is not responsible for the operation, availability, or content of third-party services.


5. Advertising

Scapedia may display advertisements to users who have not purchased Scapedia Pro.


Users who purchase Scapedia Pro may receive benefits such as an ad-free experience, subject to the description provided at the time of purchase.


6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Manipulate, interfere with, or disrupt the operation of the Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
  • Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended features
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.


7. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account through the App, while signed in into the App.


When an account is deleted, associated account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to any legal, security, or operational retention requirements.


8. Availability and Changes

Scapedia is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.


We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features or integrations, without prior notice.


We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services.


9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design elements, graphics, branding, and functionality of Scapedia are owned by or licensed to the developer unless otherwise stated.


These Terms do not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights related to the App.


You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the App except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scapedia shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of progress
  • Loss of account access
  • Service interruptions
  • Third-party service failures
  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Your use of the App is at your own risk.


11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that may harm the App, its users, or its operation.


12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.


Updated versions will be posted with a revised 'Last updated' date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
